The Social Network – Trailer here….

Considering the power of websites such as Myspace and Facebook, I guess it was only a matter of time before the phenomenon of Fb was utilised in a movie setting. A kind of “biographical” film about the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, The Social Network indeed looks interesting. It’s directed by David Fincher, the man behind such genius films as Fight Club and Se7en. Let us know what you think…

  1. i was just watching this a few hours ago! i stumbled on it looking for the song: "Creep" by Scala and some Krappy Brothers. i'm such a sucker for this song and any version of it.

As for the film; it seems like the preview is better than the movie, y'know?

Hmm, I have great faith in Fincher being able to pull this one together. He's yet to let me down (although Benjamin Button came close at times) with his technical film-making skill, so I'll definitely reserve judgement about it until later. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, though. I kept having a vague flashback to "greed is good" moments, though. Hopefully this film can rise above it.

Oh, yeah, and that version of "Creep" is pretty cool…..

We want to hear from you!!! Leave us your thoughts here!!!

Never blessed with a body worthy of a porn star, nor being the heir to a wealthy industrialists fortune, nor suffering the tragedy of having his parents murdered outside a Gotham theater, Rodney is, contrary to popular opinion, neither Ron Jeremy, JD Rockefeller, or Batman. As a serious appreciator of film since 1996, Rodney's love affair with the medium has continued with his online blog, Fernby Films, a facility allowing him to communicate with fellow cineasts in their mutual love of all things movie.
