Vale – Sage Stallone

Filed under: Obituary — Rodney Twelftree @ 11:23 pm

Sage Stallone – 1976-2012

Sage Stallone, son of screen legend Sylvester Stallone, has died in his Studio City home, reportedly from an overdose of prescription medication. Sage appeared in two films with his famous father, debuting in Rocky V as Rocky Balboa Jr, and in the Rob Cohen directed Daylight. While his acting career never took off, he partnered with film editor Bob Murawski to form Grindhouse Releasing, a company dedicated to the restoration and preservation of exploitation films of the 70′s and 80′s. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stallone family at this sad time.

At the time of his death on July 13th, Sage Stallone was 36.
