Peter Halliday - 1924-2012

Acclaimed Welsh actor Peter Halliday has died. Mr Halliday, best known for his appearance in the BBC television series A For Andromeda during the 60’s, also appeared in a number of theater productions and films over his career, making appearances alongside luminaries such as Richard Burton and Sir John Gielgud. Among his other television work came appearances in serials such as Doctor Who, The Avengers and The Saint. His film career included roles in Sunday Bloody Sunday in 1971, The Remains Of The Day, and The Swordsman (1974).

Mr Halliday was 87.
