In reply to Dan. If Disney/Lucasfilm had the balls they'd press on and make one or two more SOLO films to establish the character fully away from Ford's portrayal. I think this film was good enough to set up the "origin" but I'd like to see one or two more entries into Alden's turn to satisfy my appetite for these anthology movies.

I’m not saying I had high hopes for this one but I though Solo as a character would make a good spin-off. That said, I am worried that the character is so indebted to Harrison Ford that there’ll be a nagging feeling of something missing throughout. I didn’t know about the production problems, that can’t have helped.
