I'm with you my friend: I doubt Snyder will "restrain" himself in any way here – the trailers seem to indicate our suspicions borne out – but I just hope there's a modicum of heart and soul here that was missing from MoS. And if Superman doesn't smile once during the film, I'm f@cking out. Superman is a beacon of hope, and yet DC and Snyder seem intent on making him a slightly lighter version of Batman.
