I actually liked Divergent, but this was just one big mess. From the rocky performances to the bad visuals. Mess!
Kate Winslet probably gave the worst performance of her career here.
Hopefully the next one will be better.

Love your review! I hated Divergent so much I won't even watch this for reviewing purposes. So damn boring! Miles Teller even said how these films were bad just before he had to go film this one!

The more of these films that come down the tube, the less inclined I am to review them. I sit there, hoping against hope to be engaged or entertained or even mildly amused, but it's all for nought. This film – nay, this entire genre – is just shithouse.

...and what the hell was The Maze Runner? It was like a 30-sec pre-orgin origin story, a 30-sec pre-credits intro sequence dragged out to two hours. Funny stuff Rodney. I did, surprisingly, enjoy Divergent. It was far better than I expected it could be. But Insurgent on the other hand probably lived up to the expectations I had for the first film. It wasn’t half as entertaining and a lot of what made part 1 good was missing.
