Not being a comic fan will minimize a lot of your enjoyment of films like this, but at the very least the story and/or characters should hook you in some way. This film isn't the easiest "comic book movie" to categorize, namely because it seems to work against the very nature of modern comic book film in that it's smaller and less "explodey" than most, but I was impressed with just how that worked FOR the film rather than against it. It made a change from every other version being an Avengers-like clone.

Fair enough it didn't grab you – Wolvie isn't for everyone.

The Brick! Thanks for stopping by, man. I didn't actually mind the giant samurai thing at the end, although it wasn't exactly in keeping with the tone of the rest of the film, but I guess they had to include SOMETHING cool to put in the trailers, right? LOL!!
