In reply to Saint Pauly. Yeah, it's uncomfortable alright - and not just for the fact that it's a true story. Unfortunately, human depravity seems to know no bounds, and Compliance is anything BUT a light film to watch. As mentioned, it's not a film you "enjoy" as much as you "endure".

I remember this coming out and its being based on a true story and then knowing I couldn't possibly watch it because I'd feel way too uncomfortable…

In reply to Colin Biggs. Floored is an adequate description of how I felt when I did some research on this one too, Colin. I don't think I've seen a film that's made my skin crawl for its "real world" application as much as this one did!

I remember catching a trailer for this and thinking this couldn't possibly happen. Then I looked up the real-life accounts later and was completely floored.
