In reply to Al K Hall. Thanks mate! Although, like a recovering drinker, I'm taking it one review at a time! I'm working on getting to number 500 some time next year! Funny story - I was working away on some reviews a while back, and noticed that I'd snuck up on 400 a lot quicker than I realised! The actual review I had ready as the 400th (without realising it) was Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and I figured I couldn't have that as the 400th review on the site, so moved my Resident Evil one into the slot.

i loved this movie. It was like a video game with all the levels and 'bosses'. Pure entertainment (if a little heavy on the 3D effects–i fell sorry for y'all who saw this on TV), beautiful women and no shortage of action.

The same of which could be said of your reviews! Congrats on the 400th, here's a toast to the next 400.

I've found the Resident Evil films to be brilliant entertainment. I suspect the all-round gorgeousness of Milla Jovovich helps of course.

In reply to Sam Fragoso. Thanks for dropping by Sam. I guess the nutshell version is this: if you're a fan of Resident Evil, you're gonna see it anyway, and if you're not a fan, then you probably won't find this film even comprehensible without seeing the previous installments.

I never had any desire to see this film – unless there was going to be a press screening for it.

Good review – and this is certainly an interesting take on the film.
