Trailer Trash! – Valerian & The City Of A Thousand Planets

Leon and Fifth Element director Luc Besson appears to have clambered back onto his wheelhouse with Valerian, a live-action version of the acclaimed comic book series of the same name, as he brings his typically French visual style to this sci-fi opus that looks to have links with Jupiter Ascending, Besson’s own Fifth Element, and a hodge-podge of Indiana Jones. I’m unsure of exactly what the plot involves (I prefer to remain surpruised) but the trailer looks pretty cool and there’s gonna be lots of eye candy here. Check it out after the jump!

Never blessed with a body worthy of a porn star, nor being the heir to a wealthy industrialists fortune, nor suffering the tragedy of having his parents murdered outside a Gotham theater, Rodney is, contrary to popular opinion, neither Ron Jeremy, JD Rockefeller, or Batman. As a serious appreciator of film since 1996, Rodney's love affair with the medium has continued with his online blog, Fernby Films, a facility allowing him to communicate with fellow cineasts in their mutual love of all things movie.
