This Week on fernbyfilms.com – 17/8/08

And so we find ourselves half way through another month! Talk about time flying when you’re having fun! Things are progressing well here behind the scenes at fernbyfilms.com. I am in the process of getting himself a new computer, photos of which will be posted up as soon as possible here at the site.

You may have noticed a new page in the sidebar to the right: it’s where all the links to each review posted here at fernbyfilms.com will be located, a quick and easy reference to all our material. This page will be updated at the end of each month with all that months reviews, so it will remain up to date.

This week, we continue with the Redux Reviews with a look at Danny Boyle’s sci-fi epic, Sunshine. Is it worth a look or not? Check out that review soon. Plus, Rodney gives us a review of the latest Die Hard flick, Die Hard 4.0, as well as a look back at all the previous installments in the series.

We also give the new Aussie horror flick Rogue a whirl, and it’s not as bad as you might think.

New girl Mel Ward chimes in this week, with her thoughts on Mel Gibson’s blood and thunder Aztec thriller, Apocalypto, as well as the more girl-friendly The Princess Bride, a perennial family favoutire.

Check back later today for the latest amusing comment from the Secret Squirrel too!

We’re working on some big things here at fernbyfilms.com, some major reviews and essays to come over the next few weeks and months.

Remember, if you disagree with anything you read here at the site, feel free to drop us a comment and let us know! We like to know what YOU think of the films you watch!
